Healthy immune system invades pathogens and other bad bacteria and having this will help our body protect and fight against infections and illnesses.   • Eating healthy foods / doing a proper diet

  • and lastly, Having proper sanitation habits.

Aside from following these basic health guidelines, you can also increase your immunity by taking vitamins and food supplements especially if it’s difficult for you to maintain having foods that are high in nutrients. If you are busy and cannot consistently prepare nourishing foods such as fruits and vegetables for your meals, you can take supplements such as vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin B6, etc. You can get vitamin D naturally by getting a regular exposure to sunlight. Though, just be sure to limit this on a healthy level. Also, you must look for a trusted source of these products or even in doing precautions for immune boosting so that you will not run the risk of having negative effects. Nonetheless, doing it properly will help your body create healthy cells and therefore, healthy immune system. 

Many doctors and experts strongly recommend vitamin C for fighting and preventing various illnesses such as cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, and other chronic diseases. Some foods that contain vitamin C are orange, strawberries, grapes, kale, bell peppers, broccoli, and spinach. Some examples of food that has vitamin B6 are fish (salmon, tuna, etc.), chickpeas, and various kinds of green vegetables. And lastly, foods that are rich in vitamin E include nuts (almonds, peanut, hazelnut, etc.), corn, seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, etc.) and green leafy vegetables. There are more ways to boost your immune system, but learning and doing these basic things will help a lot to fight against cold, flu, and other kinds of infection.
